This position reports to the IT Services Manager as a member of the services team in the Information Technology (IT) department.

The primary focus is to provide day-to-day remote trouble-shooting over the phone while remotely problem-solving, and giving assistance to end users for computer hardware, software, network and related systems, including smartphones, printers, and peripheral devices.

•Experience supporting end users in a centralized help desk environment
•Exceptional customer service orientation
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Self-starter who is able to work independently
•Positive contributor in a team environment
•Excellent English oral and written communication and user documentation skills

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, type of experience, # of years experience, specialization, technical, knowledge, requirement.):

•Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
•2-3 years’ experience in a hands-on technical desktop support role
•Highly qualified candidates will have some combination of the following certifications.
•A+, Network +, CCNA, MCP, MCSA, MCDST, HDI, or ITIL
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
•Application support experience with Microsoft Office products
•Administrative knowledge of Active Directory users and computers
•Demonstrated knowledge of TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and LAN/WAN architecture as it affects the end-user environment
•Strong knowledge of computer hardware and disk imaging procedures
•Working knowledge of a range of remote control and diagnostic utilities
