SUMMARY: Under direction of the Service Support Manager, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator will assist with service contracts administration (bookings, cancellations, etc.). In addition, the coordinator will help develop, implement and manage internal and external marketing such as social media accounts, company announcements, and sales presentations for Fire & Life Safety America.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.
- Process Centralized bookings for offices and National Accounts.
- Process Inspection cancellations for offices, directed/approved by Department Manager.
- Keep social media presence active on the FLSA website, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
- Help develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy
- Work with various FLSA departments (sales, marketing, human resources, etc.) to support and develop marketing and social media content and website blogs.
- Assist the sales organization with presentation content development.
- Distribute and manage leads and inquiries from the website.
- Participate in training designed to improve industry knowledge and overall skills required of the position.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point).
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and collaborate with internal and external parties.
Strong organization, time management and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant social media websites.
Critical thinker and strong problem solver
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree in Marketing preferred, High School diploma or GED required. Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sound, working knowledge of office systems, customer portals, data bases, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively.
Able to complete fundamental financial and analytical calculations.
