Job Description



Overview


The LiRo Group is a leading Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management firm and is ranked among the nation's top construction management firms. We support some of the largest, most high-profile construction projects and continue to expand.

Our growth has created an immediate need for Superintendents, Office Engineers, Inspectors and Project Managers to work on a major higher education construction program in our newly created San Francisco office.




Responsibilities

Superintendent:

  • Manage agency relationships on project level

  • Perform project design documents/constructability reviews

  • Coordinate/Schedule project bidding activities

  • Review proposed bidder lists and attend pre-bid meetings

  • Perform field supervision and ensure contractor compliance with project requirements at multiple locations

  • Mentor contractors and provide guidance ensuring successful performance of construction and project administrative activities


Office Engineer:



  • Monitor and track project schedules and budgets

  • Interface with client and contractors

  • Coordinate and track all project plans

  • Assist Project Manager with change orders, RFI's, submittals and response letters to the contractors

  • Prepare and maintain project records including weekly and monthly project status reports.

  • Provide concise, timely project reporting, prepare and issue meeting minutes, daily reports and all typical construction project documentation


Inspector:



  • Ensure specifications are followed with emphases on quality and safely

  • Perform field supervision and ensure contractor compliance with project requirements at multiple locations

  • Mentor contractors and provide guidance ensuring successful performance of construction and project activities


Project Manager



  • Manage personnel, budget and administration

  • Oversee all phases of construction from conception through completion at multiple sites

  • Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance

  • Coordinate the work of numerous contractors, provide progress reports and manage the change order process




Qualifications



  • Candidates should have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working on construction projects

  • Prior experience with higher education projects a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification
