Heidtman Steel Products, Inc. has 2nd shift openings in Maintenance for our East Chicago, IN facility.
Maintenance personnel are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment (including slitting line, overheadcranes, and forklifts) in a hands-on work environment.

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Ability work mandatory overtime.
Experience in troubleshooting electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining slitting machine preferred.
Must be able to stick/mig weld maintenance welding and some fabrication.
Must know how to perform preventative maintenance on fork trucks and overhead cranes.
Must know how to perform preventative maintenance on fork trucks and overhead
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches and schematics.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
Must be Computer literate.
