Our continued growth has created an immediate need for an experienced Construction Project Manager with strong electrical expertise from both a technical and strategic implementation on rail systems.


  • Overall construction management team leadership

  • Administration of the contract, maintaining contract documentation, providing oversight of the contractor's compliance to all contract provisions, including monitoring the contractor's safety, quality, cost and schedule performance

  • Responsible for control and management of contract scope, cost and schedule

  • Responsible for interface with MTACC Procurement for contract administration issues, including contract closeout

  • Direct communication with client, facility, stakeholders and user groups

  • Leads contract-specific interfaces with project-wide support staffs and railroad stakeholders, including project controls, safety, security, quality, code compliance, environmental, geotechnical, survey, force account, third-party and inter-agency coordination, real estate, systems integration, systems safety and office services

  • Ensures compliance with CM procedures

  • Coordinates with cost/schedule staff for weekly and monthly reporting on the status and progress of the contract

  • Manages Construction Phase Service budgets

  • Oversee and ensure quality and consistency of construction and all aspects of electrical improvements

  • Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance

  • Coordination with adjacent projects impacted by the proposed work


  • Strong electrical knowledge, particularly for transit electrical systems, substations, communication and signal system

  • Strong communication skills at multiple project levels ranging from tradespeople to facility executives

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

  • 15+ years' experience in Project Management
