This position is for one of Aristeo's affiliate organizations, Stenco Construction. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to work, collaborate, contribute and learn with our team. Position Responsibilities:



  • Determine scope of work by reviewing proposal specifications, drawings, and attending pre-bid meetings

  • Develop accurate, competitive, and complete estimates

  • Solicit competitive project-specific proposals from subcontractors and suppliers

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships and ethical practices with owners, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Ensure detailed project kickoff meetings are held for all new projects

  • Negotiate and issue accurate and detailed purchase orders and subcontracts

  • Maintain the current estimating database to include, but not limited to, tracking estimated vs. actual productivity and material commodity pricing




  • Must be proficient in the use of current estimating software, including The Edge Estimating

  • Must be comfortable working in teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be able to clearly articulate bid inclusions, exclusions, and proposal clarifications with owners and subcontractors

  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities




  • 4-year Construction Management or Engineering degree is preferred or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience

  • Must have a strong understanding of conceptual estimating, estimating techniques, and cost control
