Job: Equipment Service Technician, Wright Implement Company, Bowling Green, KY

Purpose:

To maintain customer satisfaction and uptime through the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance work on agricultural and/or turf equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and/or turf equipment and established Integrated Solutions (IS) products
2. Participates in both in house and John Deere Training programs required for the continued development of skills and knowledge
3. Treats vehicles and any company provided tools as their own
4. Maintains a clean work area for safety and efficiency of jobs being worked on
5. Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
6. Completes detailed write ups of the work performed
7. Accounts for all worked time on Service Delivery and for all material used in performing assigned duties
8. Willing to ask questions and/or for help when needed
9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other

1. Ability to perform basic diagnostics and any repairs along with required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures
2. Ability to use Service Advisor or comparable computer diagnostic tools
3. Ability to explain work completed both in writing and orally
4. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the operation of agricultural and/or turf equipment
5. Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly

Requirements:

1. Willing to travel some for training and/or to complete needed repairs on equipment
2. 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
3. Basic Service Technician certification preferred
4. High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
5. Valid driver's license is required
6. Fork lift license preferred
